Today I had the chance to use a NutriBullet. Let me say, it was the healthiest thing I had all day. I made a smoothie with pumpkin seeds, 1/2 a green apple, grapes, and pineapple. It was amazing. However the euphoria didn’t really last that long because I had to run to the can if you know what I mean. =p If you have a chance to try one of these, you should. They are awesome.
I would love to have a Vitamix though, but I don’t have money for that.
I have not written on this blog in a very long time. I guess you could say because I having been trying super hard to get everything together, and I honestly just have not had the time for it. =( So now I’m back! Yay! Now, I have been trying my hardest not to eat anything that was bad for me but I failed. I failed so bad. I’ve been eating whatever the hell I want and now I feel a complete difference. I was doing okay last year but I just totally let myself go again. And now I’m paying the price. HA!
I joined the Golds Gym in my neighborhood to stay motivated. They have awesome classes and a shake bar that I take full advantage of almost every night. You can buy a wide variety of protein shakes. They even offer Shakeology which I thought was really great considering that fact that it’s so expensive online. I like the Tropical Strawberry (At least I think that’s what it’s called) variety the most. The greenberry is okay but not something that I would have everyday. There was something about the texture that I didn’t like so much.
On a side note, ZUMBA IS AWESOME. If anyone is looking for a way to jazz up their cardio workouts, ZUMBA would be the way to go!
P.S.- I am going to try my hardest to update this blog every day. It will be my personal challenge if you will. I want to keep note of my thoughts and what not. Let’s see if I can stick to this.
I really can’t seem to choose what I want to do. I have made the simple choice of omitting all fast foods from my diet. I haven’t eaten any red meats but when I do eat meat it’s usually a small serving of chicken. I’ve watched countless YouTube videos about the benefits of a raw vegan diet, but with my schedule and winter approaching, I do not think that’s a feasible choice. Has anyone out there ever been in this situation? If so please help me out! xoxo Simona
I decided to get Naked at work today. Figuratively speaking of course. I have never tried the green machine smoothie before and I decided to for the first time this morning. For about $3 USD you can try this out. I do believe it’s cheaper than stopping by a juice shop. I must say, I am not in anyway disappointed. But it does look somewhat…..interesting. I thought that the taste would be bitter like swamp water since that’s exactly what it looks like. To my surprise is was very refreshing and it tastes like banana and pineapple with a hint of spinach. After meticulously scrutinizing the label, I found that this Naked juice contained no added sugar, no preservatives, and it was non-GMO and vegan. I was surprised to see that it contained no genetically modified fruit since now-a-days almost everything is created in a lab. This was a great find and it will be a routine addition to my grocery list. Did I mention it was filling? This would be great for breakfast on the go!
I love www.nakedjuice.com
